So , Mr , Mrs , Northern Dave and family , that 4k post mile marker is creeping up quick . Any plans for a mile marker post ?

I've been enjoying the virtual opportunity to visit camp chickenbuck for a while now , and thought I'd make a point to say thank you Dave for starting this thread , in memory of your best friend , building and growing the camp and family ties , and sharing it all here with us folks on the other side of some computer screen.
Amazing ( well not really to me ) the quality of folks that gravitate to and share both in the hard work as well as the fun parts of

Never seen that stand in the woods,(yet), but that is where Forky Toes will meet his match. I just don't know if I have the guts to pass him up when he walks by me this year.

well, fresh batteries in the trail cam so with any luck we'll get a look at more than just his tracks real soon.

Ahhhh,the "Balad of Forkytoes" sounds a wee bit like "Dueling Banjos" or perhaps "Ghost Riders in the sky".
