In Nebr, it looks like we'll be having an early dark goose season with a daily limit of five - possession of 10. In reading the newspaper, it certainly looked like this was prompted by the large populations of geese that inhabit the golf courses and parks around Lincoln & Omaha who pi** off the golfer boys & girls by leaving 'goose souvenirs' all over the place.
I'm not sure whether to be upset that rich golfers raised enough heck with the legislators to get the geese killed off, or simply be happy with more hunting opportunities. It's certainly a classic case of 'whose ox is getting gored'. SW
