gee willickers, I am gone for a day and 4 pages break out. I for one, Mrs. ND, didnt have my hand raised a'tall (which is cuz I didnt know about it til now, but that is a meaningless detail).
We are getting closer to the home building project. We have pretty got the builder set to go (in mid-August). Close on the lot next Thurs (after 2 delays).
Biggest question I am mulling right now is this...should i put in-floor heat in the garage? It will cost me around $3000 to do it. The garage is a big garage (1424 sq feet). Or i could go with a natural gas heater that hangs from the ceiling for around $5 hunnert. Thoughts? Show of hands? (Remember Mrs ND, I voted with you on Willy the Jeep).

You don't screw around on this house building do you? Quick work.
As much as I love "in floor" heat, unless your going to use your garage as a working shop, or in there a lot. I'd probaly skip it due to cost. But if you're looking for a way to burn 3K and you have the scrath. Absolutely! It flat out rocks.

Tom, the elephant park happens this weekend so we're not off the hook yet.

I am struggling myslef with the concept of "...unless you are going to be in there a lot". I think I am. as the boys get older, I see all kinds of ATV, snowmobiles, etc in there getting worked on. Skinning a few deer perhaps. I think the kids will play in there all winter long riding bikes and such. I have it set up so the in-floor would be using off-peak electricity, so it will be cheap to heat. having said all that, an extra $2500 (remember, it will cost $500 to do the natural gas heater) is certainly a big some of money to me. The head scratching continues.....

If you plan on this being your house for quite some time, I'd say go for it.
My step dad has it in his cabinet shop and swears by it. It is very efficent, energy wise.

and some good ole fashioned driving practce... [/quote] Well, It looks like he has the beer pop can hand down right. Way to go "Runs with Scissors". Next, you'll have to teach him to drive with his knee so he can hold the can and have his arm around his "honey" an the same time.

I went to a gun show Saturday.Did a little trading and selling and came home with a Taurus "Tracker",4" barrel, stainless steel in .44 magnum.I sold a .44 special. Now I have the .44 mag option if I want and I have stainless rather than blue.A good companion to my Ruger Super Redhawk although the Ruger wears glasses..44 magnum is my all time favorite best all around revolver caiber there is. Dave, great pictures of camp.Man,you guys DECIMATED that wood pile.A good weekend at Camp Chickenbuck. That's what it is all about.Thank you for posting that.

Stan; You should like that Taurus Tracker...that size gun fits into most S&W "K" frame leather, so its easy to find a holster you like...I had to wet my holster down and mold it around that Rhomboid lug on the tracker, but it was easy enough to come up with good leather for the gun.Nice handy size...you oughta like it!.... Sprite. Yeah, right! Ingwe
