Okay, I have a few more details. I hope this will scratch the itch for a moment or two, Mrs ND (or whoever you are...? confused.) This is his response:

I will have my brother take some pictures. Yes, it does/did run when he parked it last fall. It is a simple F-100. Two barrel carb, two wheel drive, manual three on the column. It's not perfect (about 10 years ago some drunk banged into the side. Nothing major but left some dents etc on the passenger side). If I remember, there isn't much rust. New heater a couple years ago. It's the old Ford cream or light yellow color. All original paint.

Let me know if you want his phone number and I can hook you guys up. I dont need to be in the middle confusing everyone if there is genuine interest.

thats a fine idea rooster, boy could use some reading time, this would keep him busy for 6 months grin

Well, that would depend on how much time he spends reading it in a day. I just barely caught up and it took me a little over a month. laugh

This is a great thread (as over 4,000 replies shows) and it has brought together an awesome bunch of people. It was my pleasure to read it all and share in the excitement and adventure of a new deer camp. Least to say, I'm jealous. smile

Thanks for sharing everyone. It's funny, I have never met any of you, nor spoken with anyone on the phone, nor really had a discussion over the internet and yet I feel like I know this group. Thanks for making this thread an awesome read.

Pretty cool ain't it...I think that is the draw to this thread.

Welcome BTW, to a cool place to swap stories about pretty much anything. smile

Welcome Azar & thanks for the kind words.

I'm off to the camp tonight for some much needed relaxation, you see I was just brutally hosed by a local auto repair shop and I'm quite angry about it. I usually do all my own repairs but trusted this shop with one simple little job... and they hosed me.

i need to go to a happy place to cool off.

You all have a great weekend, I'll try to take some picks of our weekend.

Dave

Welcome Azar and RWS.

Made it to Portland Saturday at 6:30 PM. Temps in the mid 90's.

Son and DIL are scheduled to arrive this afternoon.

Berettaman, where were you at 11:30 last Thursday? We stopped at Alex and had lunch at Perkins.

Just had blueberry ice cream. smile

taught hunters safety on Sat. Got up early today to fish a new lake that I never see anybody on....so I got it in my head that it must be full of fish since nobody fishes it...crazy Now I know why there's no one on it.

Skunked, zip, nada, zilch. Two weeks in a row.

Dave, the pic of Weezy cutting taters gave me a real longing to be in a place where kitchen utensils come from a leather belt sheath.

It all looks better than good. Steelheads got nothing on ya.
