Ditto on the Hondas if you could find a couple of Z50A's, they are 3-speed automatic. You still have to shift them, but no clutch and yes they are cast iron tough and plenty of parts available for them. I have two of them handed down to me by my father-in-law and am saving them for my grandsons to start on next summer.

Well Dave and Uncle Dusty....how'd it go? well, we had fun. we couldn't seem to be able to find the right size of fish and we endured some real downpours but it was fun before, during & after fishing. RWS & I checked the trail cam yesterday on our way home, nothing new really. does & fawns.

SIL had over 200 bear pictures from last week on his trail camera. Looks like 3 small bears are camped out on the bait.
So humid here this morning you can cut it with a knief. Had to turn the A/C on.

here are a couple of new pictures. here's one of Mr chickenbuck sleeping next to dad's new chainsaw. He insisted the chainsaw be inside so he could play with it. He sat up late jabbering on & on about all the things he cuts with this big saw... then he fell asleep next to it. here's a look at some of the boats staged to take off for the first flight on sat morning. here's the sort of theing Dusty & I caught over & over again all day... and here are a couple of trail pictures of our future deer population. cute aint they?

I love that pic of PWM. That is classic. Those eyeballers look like the one's we catch all the time here, about a 1/2" short of what yer looking for.
The fawns look yummy. Easy draggin'.

An indian I used to hunt with used to call young tender deer "breakfast meat" indicating that they were tender enough for that meal. I am doing some cleaning out in my gun safe(s)and if anyone has any interest in one or more of the following which I have briefly listed, please contact me. Remington 742 w/scope in 30-06. NEF Handi rifle in 45-70.New. Mauser model 24/47 in 8MM.Nice,accurate. The weather is overcast here and I got back into walking today. I was up to 4 miles last fall but quit during winter and getting cranked up again isn't easy. PWM looks peaceful laying next to that saw.Ah kids, they live in a beautiful different world.Peter Pan was right.

Looking good Dave, should be a good start for the chicken shack. Hows the road out there. could be a bit slimy right now.
It is a silly fish that is caught twice with the same bait!

it's wet out there for sure with the rains we've had but I rolled in & out of there with the one ton yesterday (one ton, AKA "earth diver") and we did just fine, don't think we slipped a tire.

Dave, I like the pics of the start of the fishing tourney. Nice to see someone up there runnin' a Ranger tiller.
That is going be my next boat, maybe as soon as next year. Depends when we get the busniess started. Love the 18' ranger tillers.

Well boys and gurlas, I dont have any good woods or water stories for ya....oh wait, I do have a water story. My wife was in a wedding this weekend. An outdoor wedding. It absolutely poured on the wedding. Not more than 10 people in the crowd by the end, everyone else ran for cover. The wedding party and the 10 of us were absolutely soaked. I will remember that one for awhile. ND, that barnwood ain't a-gonna hang itself ya know! And it is getting on toward grouse season, time to hang stands, etc. You best dedicate some time to Chickenbuck, cuz i dont wanna hear how you missed on a turdy pound grouse cuz you had to hang barnwood.
What you do today is important, you are trading a day in the rest of your life for it.

Tom, I saw just what you're looking for in Plover 2 weeks ago. It was located at Plover Road (Cty Rd 'B') and Mecca Drive. Looked to be a 90's Ranger tiller. Looked like new, but that was from 50 feet away and going 35 mph.
