yesterday shootin at a grouse. the buss cables just seperated at full draw. bow os ok eccept for the minor difficulties. local shop says 75 bucks. i used to work in a bow shop about 12yrs ago and seems cables where only about 30 bucks 50 installed. these guys say 150 for cables string and install. is this just inflation or am i missing some thing?

That's actually a decent price. A decent Brownell buss cable will run you around $30 - you need two and a decent string, say $50. $40 smackers to install, I'd say that's a pretty good price to get you up and running again.
