Just found out Cabela's offers a "Kwik Klip Conversion Kit' bottom metal replacement for 700s. Do y'all have any input / opinions? I have a BDL DM 700 in .280 Remington with feeding problems. HS Precision solution is 300 bucks plus. http://www.cabelas.com/p-0024317226539a.shtmlThanx!

I'll bet someone here will solve your problem for free. Ken

Bending the lips on two Remington magazines hasn't totally solved the problem. Has anyone used the Cabela's???

I tried the conversion, and could never get it to feed properly. I finally have gone back to a standard BDL floorplate assembly.

I have two of them. They have moved around a bit from rifle to rifle. .25-06 to .300 wm and a few in between. I think they are decent for the money. I've never had any feeding problems. They are not exactly a drop in, you will have to do some minor inletting and shimming to make them work.
Politicians and Diapers both need to be changed often, and for the same reason!

Appreciate it. Sounds like I can improve it enough to make me happier. With bedding and load development done, feeding would make it more than a stand gun. (I can get two or three to stay put before they strt going out the port instead of chambering.)

Will the Clip work by itself on an stock Rem. Magazine, or do you have to buy the complete trigger guard?
