I have a handi-rifle in .22 Hornet, also have a 50cal muzzleloader barrel and a scoped 12 gauge barrel. My question is anybody have experiance with the long range calibers like 22-250 and the accuracy of these in those calibers? My hornet is accurate, but sometimes shifts zero when the forarm is rested on something hard. Missed one lucky chuck twice because of that.
I'm seriously considering a 22-250 for that reach out and touch something ability.

I don't think a different caliber will help if you rest the forearm on something hard.

Never had a NEF but they have a good reputation and, what the heck, you have only 3 barrels so far. I've seen them for sale with 16!

hey corelokt,,I have one in .223 and with the right load,( read cheapest )I can shoot into one postage stamp size group as far out as I shoot,,never had the forearm prob.s that others have,,but I hear that the fix is a rubber O ring over the screw boss takeing up slack between the barrel and forearm,,worth a try anyway,,good luck!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
