This is a very nice, well cared for model 721 Remington made in 1952. It is caliber .270win. The shiny finish is removed and a very nice satin teak oil finish is applied.Barrel code is YY.$395 shipped.

The 721 and 722 Remingtons are some of, if not the most often overlooked rifles out there. Simply the father of the Rem 700 series.

The 721's easily accept a BDL stock to help with the drop comb on the factory stocks.

The 721 in 30/06 that I bought off of this site is a seriously accurate rifle.

They tend to be!

Not in the market right now, but here's a bump for a nice rifle.

Though I am a Pre 64 Convert, the 721 is what killed the pre 64 M-70. It shot as well (actually probably a little better), was stronger, and it was much less expensive.

The accuracy I'm getting from several 722's is plain exceptional!

I'll say the metal on that rifle is exceptional; bluing as good as I've seen on any 721.

Yep, the 721 is a great gun. I have one just like it in .270.
