Please send some of them gooses out to Tom in Indiana. He needs 1 in the win column but also all the help he can get from beaver attacks. Thanks

56 and dropping here. It's howling from the west. Apparently up to 8" tonight. I wish I could remember who I lent my chimney sweep to.

Giant beavers don't attack as much after a snowfall.
At least that has been my experience.

Y'all are crazy, do you know that. It's 69 and pleasant outside. I've got two more months of short sleeve weather.

Still snowing... been going all day. Currently 9" at a friends cabin, mountains are getting pounded. Elk will be back to yelling when this stuff clears out tomorrow...

You missed out on all the fun Brad!

We're slammed right now finishing curb on 3 or 4 parking lots or we woulda stayed inside as well. FWIW, I bought a new 'waterproof breathable' Carhartt coat the other day. It appears to be awesome on day one.

We sure have been feeling the pinch around here the last little while...

But as they say, "this too shall pass."

Glad you are doing good, Sam.

Tim, Elk Season kicks off on 10-25...

Sammer, us old dudes aren't quite up to the task as you youngin's grin

BTW, decided not to bed my 257 (totally unlike me) and just mounted the scope. Will wring it out this weekend. Also picked up another 300 WSM Montana... apparently can't live without one, warts and all. Dober and I went over to Billings on Saturday and I picked it up for $950 on sale, as well as a VXII 3-9x40 LR for $295...

Thanks Tim, I bet things will pick up for you guys. Stuff always works out one way or another.

Brad, the bedding on my Select Bob looked good enough to me so I didn't mess with it. Seems fine from every shooting position.

Another WSM Montana, I woulda never guessed.....(grin)

No 6x36LR for the 300?
