After the Chicago teen-age honor student was video taped being killed by gang members using railroad ties as bludgeons, Glen Beck suggested the need to strictly control the ownership of railroad ties. He also proposes legislation requiring that they be padlocked when not in use.

Cleaning and field dressing animals...no problem.
Getting through a needed viewing of crime scene, accident scene or autopsy photos........a bit more of a problem but I get it done.
Watching a video of senseless slaughter committed by those devoid of any soul.....can't do it either,Ricky.

The "railroad ties" Glenn showed on his TV show tonight weren't big enough to be from any railroad I've ever seen. They looked like chunks of wood about 4' long and about 6" x 6" square. Show me the kid who has hands big enough to grab that and swing it. Now, landscape timbers, those are everywhere, fairly easy to handle, but still big. I can see our legal system letting the kids off because the weapons couldn't be properly identified. Steve
