Does anyone have any information on the. 150 grain xp3 load in 270 win? The balistics look higher than any other factory load of similiar bullet types and weights. Also does anyone have any expierience with this bullet on whitetails. Thanks for any info. some

I don't think that there is a whitetail in the world that is going to shrug that load off if hit properly. Good BC, tough bullet, and plenty of weight.

I hope they work for whitetail. I fed my T3 them last elk season, unfortunately I didn't get to feed my self any elk and it sure wasnt the ammos fault. If your rifle likes them you will be good to go.

My hunting partner used the XP3 2 years ago on a mule deer doe. At about 300 yards he shot the doe broadside and it left an exit wound that you could almost put a basketball in. It was seriously the largest exit wound I have ever seen.

We hunt both deer and elk at the same time, and I think it would be great for elk, but may be a little overkill for deer. In any event it will work without a doubt.
