You sent us your rain...plenty of it. I was going to hunt tonight for the first time since that buck I goofed on. It is nice and cool, so I may shoot a doe if given a chance.

The forms are all up so I cant tell how it turned out. Heck, just to get in there is like a mud-bogging contest. Anudder nasty day here.

Sat in the rain tonight...well it was more like a drizzle. Saw a doe and two fawns. I would have like to shoot the doe, never really had a good shot. They got close though, about 10 yds.

May try again tomorrow.

We're getting the same weather here. Really makes the neck swell. I'm headed out to Wyoming for speedgoats on Friday.

I left the woods at 6:30, and as I was putting my gear away it started pouring. it was beautiful when I went out, but started to sprinkle at about 4:30, then stopped.

Sat for 3 hours or so, and saw zip.

See if you had a chair blind the rain wouldn't have bothered you in the least unless it was a really hard downpour.

You know what? I do have a chair blind, I use it for turkey hunting. It is a two person one, because I have little critters that like to sit with me? I shot a turkey out of mine a few years ago, at 7 yds.
