Well, girlfriend and son just returned from Wal-Mart with the newest addition to my airgun family. Crosman Model 525 Recruit. It was their last in stock I was told and the price was right. I have been wanting a rifle like this for awhile now. I only test fired it a few times and haven't sighted it in yet. It came with a 4x15mm scope, but I think I'll stick to the open sights because the front sight is one of them Tru Glo types and looks really cool.
Anyone have any experience with this model? If so, feedback would be appreciated such as the rifle's lifespan. So far the only thing I don't like is the overly long trigger pull. Other than that it seems like a decent little backyard plinker/pest control rifle.

hrmm it would be cool, but its really not needed. I also saw a review of the SLR where they did a brake test with and with out the air brake. I think The stoping distance was nearly the same +/- 10 feet from 120. Should help out at higher speeds. ====================================== SHAZ TAYLORR cisco ccna security
