Riverdog.This was really different country that I usually hunt. One big mountain about 15 miles long mostly open sage brush country with a little bit of small aspen groves here and there. Then the sides break down over into really rough country of rock juniper and pinyon, but fairly open in spots and thick in others, There are a bunch of dirt water tanks that ranchers use as they hold the grazing leases and DOW leases back the hunting rioghts.Most of the land is BLM with state trust land sprinkled through it and some private.

Hard country for sure though.

Way to go, Mule Master Vince!! I always hope the horse/mules guys kill a biggun.. The cow ponies are going next year.. they arent arena horses.. they spend alot of time in the rocks and gullies.. I am glad for you..
