Hey Guys, Anyone shooting a .325 WSM? What do you think of it? How accurate are these? Are they as accurate as the .300 WSM? Does it hammer you without a break? I have a .300 WSM but it's a gift Merkel KR1 and it's too nice to hunt with and get deer blood and beer all over. It is super accurate though, just not a woodsy type rifle. I am on the verge! I need a new caliber to work with and it sounds like a goodun! Thanks, BT

Don't know much about a 325 but I have shot my 338 WSM quite a bit and a 300 a fair bit. Neither one is likely to rock your world when it comes to recoil.
FYI, the guys @ Shedhorn Sports in Ennis Mt have a nice clean Montana in 325 (406/682/4210)sitting there awaiting a new home.

I have an A Bolt .325 WSM that is quite accurate and does have good numbers through the chronograph. The recoil is quite manageable.

I don't have a .325 WSM, but I always thought that one in the Browning Lever BLR, would be a nice medium bore rifle. It would cover a lot of bases. Good luck.

Blowtorch, I shoot a Kimber Montana in 325 a fair bit. 200gr partition @2900fps. Recoil is fast, but not overly heavy. You had best hold on to the forend when shooting off a bench, however, as she will jump around some!
Accuracy wise, mine is an inch to inch and a quarter gun most days.
I like it.

Here's how mine can shoot when I do everything right: That's 4 different loads including a factory load. It's plenty accurate enough of a round. Bullet selection isn't up to a 7mm or 30 cal but so what? How many do you need? There are several excellent bullets available but I can't think of any game save dangerous game in africa that I couldn't hunt with a 200gr TSX at 2950fps. I kinda like it because it isn't a 30 cal like everyone else has. My Kimber Montana is just an excellent rifle in this caliber. It has some recoil but it's well controlled. One guy at the range who shot mine went straght to a local gunshop and ordered one! I made my longest shot ever on a whitetail with this rifle - 347yds. Not super far but the 325 certainly isn't a short range only round...........................DJ

I have a custom stiller predator in 325 WSM, it very accurate and suprisingly less recoil and easier to shoot than the 3 300 WSMs I have. I run 180 barnes TSX and w70 ito less than 1/2 inch all the time. Great round!!!

I load for my buddy's coyote lite (no claw, push feed), and man that sucker shoots. Half inch groups with RL17 and 220 grain A-Frames at 2840. He just got it this summer, gonna give elk a whirl this weekend with it. And no, recoild is not that bad.

I have a stainless Browning X-bolt in 325 WSM, and it is a keeper. I haven't tried the heavier bullets in it, but it likes the 200gr Accubonds and the TSX Barnes.
