Craigs248; I learned to hunt in a deer camp across the river from you in Menominee county MI. Now I hunt in the Brule River National Forest.

can you log on under a different username and try?

There has to be something else to use. Is it $24 a month, or a one shot deal?

Veddy veddy nice, that should help keep them camp critters at bay.

I recently inherited a .44 cap and ball black powder with all the bells and whistles to go with it. I am thinking that it may be going down the road for something more user friendly like yours.

I been wanting one of these for quite a while. it's the old frame vaquero (blackhawk frame) in .45 long colt. this rig falls into the "plus pressure load safe" catagory that many reloading manuals refer to.

if I handload for it with modern powders I can get that big slug haulin along at a good clip.

Dave, any idea as to when Ruger switched over to the lighter frame for the vaquero?
