Owned two of the early ones (like yours) in the past - very nice leverguns. Enjoy.

I have two of them one that is still as it came from the factory and one that got a lot of upgrading done as when I got it it was in really bad shape. I put a 26 inch octagon barrel and full mag tube and new wood and then duracoated the whole thing. You will enjoy the heck out of it and will wonder why it never caught on and then read some of reviews from when it came out from those know it all gun writers who never shot any game with it but knew exactly what it would do on game from shooting paper targets.
The only thing that winchester should have done is to put a 22 inch barrel on it in octagon shape to deal with the heat issue. Yes in a round barrel after 3-4 rounds the next one will go anywhere because of the heat from the barrel.

Would you use it if you had a 92 in .45 colt?

I bought one a few years ago and got a box of ammo to go with it. I shot 3 at the range and 3 more into deer, still have 14 left. I did load some 200 gr. Sierras for when I empty the factory fodder. Its a perfect rifle to take to the woods.....well its a Winchester. Have fun with it.

A 38-55 in a modern Levergun ..a 336 will do the same as a 375 win. in a 336....But in a 94 it won't...because the 94BB is a beefed up action for higher pressures...stronger than a 94 and a 336.

super tuff 94 BB

I put a 94 BB in 375 in layaway today..They 'R' pricey...

he also had 4 boxes of factory ammo two boxes where vintage..all 200gr.

It will be awhile till i can pick it up but pictures will be posted..

Did you buy that from Mike at BWV in Vancouver? He had one last week. It looked every bit as good close up as that does in your picture. Nice rifle! If that's the one you bought, you got a decent deal on it, too.

I saw a movie where only the military and the police had guns. It was called Schindler's List.
