If the bullet box still needs a home, I'll take it and pass it along.

Ringman,
I have not had the chance to try any of the bullets I got out of the bullet box yet. I took the bullets I wanted to test and sent the box on its way.
If you are the one that donated the 235gr .375 TSX, bullets, I thank you. I have been wanting to try them in my very long throated Sako. The rifle has been very fussy about what spire pointed bullets it will shoot well. Round nose or truncated cone are no problem to group MOA and still feed out of the magazine. I am looking forward to testing the TSXs since they may be less sensitive to the gap between ogive and rifling.

I've got three unopened boxes of Barnes Original "X" bullets that shoot well out of 1-14 twist 250-3000 rifles. Now with a 1-10 twist 250 Sav. rifle they aren't as dear to me. (pun intended)
I'd be pleased to ship them to a member in exchange for other Barnes bullets in 80 grain TTSXs, 100 grain TSXs or TTSXs in .257 or 150 grain .308 TSXs & 150 grain 30-30 TSXs.
Thanks.

I'm sorry to jump in so late, I read the first few pages of posts, but it looks like things are operating a little differently now than it would appear from what I read. Could someone please fill me in briefly?
I'm only reloading .270 Win right now, but I have a few oddballs that I could contribute.

Mssgn, When you finish with the bullet box send it along to my address. I have some stuff I can throw in there and I'd like to try a few of the bullets in the box. You have a PM with my shipping address.

I have got 290, .45 cal 230 gr., round nose cast bullet, these were cast from wheel wieghts and a Lee mold, sized and lubed to .452.
Looking for jacketed .45 cal bullets (I own a Kahr with Polyognal rifling),
I will be willing to pay difference in actual count for count, or trade for a lesser amount. Thanks

Sorry if I'm not putting this in the right place. I'm just getting the hang of this board as a newbie user.
About bullet exchange .. I have been looking everywhere for some Sierra #1730 bullets. It seems like everyone I usually shop with is out and they don't know when they will get some. Even the Sierra website says they're out. Those are for 6.5 mm (.264") Sierra soft point boat tail, 140 grain bullets, 100 count per box.
Does anyone out there have any you might be willing to part with? I can pay going price, I think it was listed at $26.95 a box at Midway (but they're out).
Or I can trade for other bullets if you are looking for some. For instance, I have some .308 Sierra 168 gr. Matchking bullets. Could trade bullet for bullet. I have some other bullets, brass, and various stuff to trade too, let me know what you are looking for.
