Both deer and antelope. It does a wonderful job with less meat damage than most all think.

Yes! It's very poisonous to them. I like a 300gr nosler at 2550. They bang-flop about 80% of the time. The rest might go 15 yards or so. Less damage than my '06 or .270 generally.

Hoping to get one next month with a good ol' 270 gr. Federal HiShok. Bet it'll die.

It'll work and really gets some attention around camp when they see the large hole in the end of the barrel.

It works great if you limit shots to 200 yards or less. The rainbow trajectory makes it a marginal weapon at best ;o) Make sure you use the heavies bullet possible in order to get an exit hole....lol Flinch

Less meat damage.....Does that go for all those large calibers? Like the 35 Whelen, 340 Weatherby, 378 Weatherby, 356 Winchester and the 404 Jeffery? Or is it the type of bullet being shot through the 375 H&H and other large calibers?

I have used the 260 accubond ona muley and whitetail, worked well, little meat damage on the whitetail and none on the muley.whitetail did run a few yards farther than when shot with a 25 or 30-06,but was down quite fast,50 yards.Muley was a neck shot and just dropped. My neighbour has shot a few deer with his as well and likes it!

A .375H&H for deer? This must be a rumor that Elmer started. Surely too much gun. Good luck.

285gr Speer Grand Slams - like others - very little meat damage and great results. Never recovered a bullet though... wink

No such thing as to much gun....How do you kill something to much?? 375 can shoot fairly flat too, with some accubonds
