The fact they come in German #4 reticle gets my attention, what about optical qualities? I hear Burris has larger internal lens if not mistaken in 30mm models....Is there any visible difference in brightness or view, I know this topic has been debated over time.
Anyone who has done side by side comparisons I would like to hear your comments. Thanks.

I haven't tried the Burris you mentioned.
For the Leupold think VX-II with 1 cm. clicks and you'll pretty much have it nailed.

Ok, thanks. So you think a VX3 1" would outperform?

Yes.
A friend of mine has the Euro-30 in 3-9x50 and it is an excellent scope, but my VX-III 3.5-10x50 is better. The newer VX-3 should be better still.
