I plan on going to AZ for the winter. I'm a snowbird. We have been leaving our dog (Golden Retriever) but we will have to take him with us this winter. I thought I would leave earlier (end of Oct. ) & hunt a state or 2. What I need to know is, info about these states. IA,MO,KS,OK,TX (not enough public land!) & NM. Mainly, I am after pheasants but also after other birds . How much public land & price of an out of state license in each state. I don't need to shoot a bunch of birds! Thanks for any info!
