Yeah, I think he has the torch there for me. LOL. Don't think we'll need it though. Sounds like we are going up there tomorrow morning, then coming home tomorrow night. Hopefully everything goes well with dad's stand.
I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

i'd say stay the night and hit that peppermint schnapps he was trying to pass off the last time i was there. drink it all too so we won't have to the next time.

you don't want to be too busy and on the road the whole week before camp, you'll get tired once your here, just want to sit and dream about forky then. never know what kinda pranks them hoodlums do when the eyes are closed....

Whew! ND, the man, the myth, the legend is still intact. that was a close one.
Did you, uh, get those griz teeth by hand to hand combat with the previous owner of the teeth (meaning the bear)? Maybe only armed with a stick and a handful of pine needles?

If I got into the schnapps I would probly still be laying on the floor of the shack when everyone showed up on Friday. Havn't had that stuff in years.

They are actually just jack rabbit teeth. But if you knew how I killed the rabbit you'd roll on the floor laughing till you peed yourself. Then after a while you'd think well ok maybe that dave actually is a little bit tough cause that's just crazy.

wern't no stick bill. I stalked him in the dark on a snow covered field & jumped on him, grabbed him with my bare hands & killed him. It wasn't that simple though, there was a struggle... it wasn't pretty. I'll borrow grogel's signature line to help explain a bit. "alcohol may have been a factor."

Well dave, that beats my turkey with a stick story. I thought seriously about trying to grab it by the neck, but those darn spurs made me change my mind. "Can't blame mine on alcohol".

jackrabbits have claws & teeth. and insane kicking skills... almost as if they were made for kicking or.. jumping or something? swinging a jackrabbit by the neck like you might do to a goose... that doesn't work on jackrabbits. the theory was sound... but in reality it proved to be innefective.
