Alaska Fly Fishers is raffling off a Winston Boron llx, 9', 6wt, 4piece rod with an Abel Super 5 large arbor reel, Mastery XXD WF-6-F line. Package also includes two hours casting instruction with a local FFF certified casting instructor, Mark Huber.
Proceeds will support Casting For Recovery, a Breast Cancer support group which teaches survivors to cast as it has been shown fly casting is excellent therapy.
Tickets are $10 and the drawing will be held 12-2 at the regular monthly meeting. Retail price of the rod and reel are over $1,400. No more than 400 tickets will be sold, but we are concerned about how few we have sold to date... That is why the post here...
ANyone wanting to support the breast just let me know by PM, phone or whatever way makes sense for you.

M already laid claim to them if anyone from out of town won, though!  Thanks art Oh, and ticket sales have not been all that brisk... Odds are looking better. I did make a mistake on the drawing date... That will be the first Monday of Dec, the 7th... and just a day after M's B'day... Note the sneaky way of sliding that info in?
