I got a new computer and maybe it has something to do with that, but I have been able to input pictures before using the same encoding as below. Any help? And yes, I've already checked the FAQ page.

Photobucket itself is probably your problem. Get an account on Flickr. It is more difficult to use and has less features, but you will see the pics here much more often than Photobucket pics.

Other than that, you can dump your cookies, clean your cache and reboot. See if that works. I'd go with the Flickr account. It's free.

Thanks for your response. I prefer to use photobucket simply because it's all set up, but if I can't resolve this issue then I will obviously need to try a different approach.... likely Flickr. Thanks again!

Steve, the problem with Photobucket is/was a known issue. I clean my computer after nearly every session anymore, so it doesn't affect me much. It may have been resolved, but it wasn't just me, other folks have had the same issue. In the past, I have not even been able to see others' avatars due to them having them on Photobucket. The last straw was when I couldn't see my own and so created a Flickr account on the advice of somebody here.

I use Photobucket exclusively and can take a picture, download it to Photobucket, then post it here in less than 10 minutes. I don't know what your difficulty would be, but I have excellent luck with my Photobucket account.

My avatar is Photobucket as well, I lost it once when I deleted it from my Photobucket account. I restored the picture and re submitted it and it stays there. Photobucket works great...

CY,

I'm not saying that you or others are not having issues with Photobucket. Just that magnumb's code seemed to be the issue this time.

CY - thanks for your response as well.

I have seen/read where our members are/were havin' issues with PB, but seems I'm good to go for now....this time anyway....smile.

My daughter and I had just set up an account with Flickr when we saw Steve's response and it showed us our mistake.

Thanks again..................

Photobucket has always worked flawlessly for me too.
