Aqualung,

You asked about nose art.
Here's the 114 AHC Red Knights, slicks.
That's my late brother, way back in 1969.

Thanks so much for the pics, stories and memories...and thanks to all who go and have gone into harm's way on behalf of civilians like myself. The mention of The Wall and Blacktail's photo also drives me to express my sympathies to those who lost friends, loved ones, siblings and spouses in the service to our Country.

Respectfully,

Aqualung

Great pics guys!

When John passed away (Cancer/Agent Orange Related) I came into possession of a shoe box full of pictures. I scanned everything I could get my hands on. Most didn't have a description on the back. Fire bases, mountains and rivers. People. Lot's of people.
It's all history and a great deal of it lost...so if some of you have a shoe box of your own...well, your kids, grandkids, etc will someday want to know...

When my son went to Iraq, I gave him a diary to log his missions and daily life. It's a treasure now.

Here's a couple more:

Maint crew kicking the tires. Names unknown.

Going to work...

I was told the 114 worked with ARVN's most of the time. They're present in a lot of the photos I have.
