Have a Hogue stock for my 22 mag. for the factory barrel conture. I ordered a sporter weight Green Mtn. barrel, only to find out that they havn't been produced yet, and won't be for several months..So, I changed my order to a fluted .920 barrel. I can see a line where an "insert" was added (I think!) to fill the barrel channel to the sporter conture. Anyone ever tried removing this "insert"??? Don't want to spend more money on another stock if this one can be used.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Thanks! Virgil B.
