I have relatives in the DC area, and his reign certainly changed their life style. The would not attend outdoor events, shop, or even stop to gas a rig until they reached their hometown about 100 miles away on weekends.
Well deserved, and a long time coming. What about his younger side kick???

The kid got life. He was too young to get the death penalty. I disagree with that law. He was plenty old enough to kill others, he was plenty old enough to get it himself.

I read somewhere that the families of the victims sued Bushmaster and won.

I used to keep my .223 NEF handi rifle in the blazer and stop and shoot groundhogs on the way home from work. The whole time those two whack jobs were running loose, I kept the rifle at home and I made darn good and sure there wasn't a single round of loaded ammo or a spent casing in the vehicle. I did replace the 223 for a 308 and a 1911. Be prepared I always say. They caught those two at the rest area just 10 miles from my house.

words are not enough to mark my disgust of such a piece of filth. i hope the execution does not go well, and he suffers a lot.

Highly likely that the suffering part is arranged...no matter how the execution part goes.

Is anyone else bothered by the media constantly referring to this SOB as a sniper. He is not a sniper. He is a cowardly murdering bastard that is all he is.

According to my watch it's two hours from ...now.

I'm highly bothered by the media in general terms too.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

Too bad the Army is going to try MAJ Hasan - if they let Texas handle it (using concurrent jurisdiction) then he would probably fry in a just a few years. Last execution at the USDB (Ft. Leavenworth) was in 1961. Ps My hat is off to the Commonwealth of Virginia for doing the right thing for the "DC Sniper".

The 1961 execution was conducted in an elevator shaft in the old USDB (The Castle). There was a new lethal injection death chamber built in the late 1980's (I was there in 1988 & 1989), but it has never been used. I have not been to Ft. Leavenworth since the new USDB has been constructed.
