Anyone use the Kifaru meatbaggies. I am considring getting some. Just wondered if anyone had any experience using them.

I have used both sizes of their meat baggies a couple times and do like them but keep in mind that if you put warm meat in them, the meat will not cool properly. They are extremly tough and will last a longtime.

I haven't been lucky enough to put meat in mine yet, but they are very handy to have in the pack even when not hunting. They weigh next to nothing and can be used to cover your rifle, carry stovewood, dirty clothes bag etc....lots of uses!

A current thread on Kifaru claims they will breathe. Have you had meat spoil using them?

I have not had meat spoil using the Kirafu baggies but from my own experiences and others, the kirafu meat baggies will not breath (i.e. cool the meat) or ventilate meat anywhere near a cloth type of gamebag.

have used them a fair bit.

I like em for true bp hunting do to lt. weight and compactness, but there's always good ole cloth bags awaiting as soon I get that pack off of shanks mare.

best to bone your meat, ime they rip easy with any bone left in, and they're a bit spendy to rip them up.

for bping and keeping your meat clean, they're great, to take the place of a good cloth game bag for hanging meat, no thank you

Try the TAG bags synthetic game bags, best game bags I have ever used. Have used them for 4-5 years now and have never lost any meat to spoilage or contamination. They breath well and you can wash them in a creek or river and they wil dry in minutes in any kind of wind. Lots of reviews on them @ PritineVentures.com.
