Anyone here (apparently RickBin does) paint/coat rifles in custom camo or in any other finish? Lets see some pictures of your handiwork!

I am ramping up at this time.. Cerakote

Here is one I just did, leaving to go hunting Sat, but will be doing some more work to the stock when I get back. I really enjoy doing this kind of work.

Holy Crap!

I was checkin' out some of that guys work and saw the thumbnail of a left handed tikka that looked familiar...I OWN THIS RIFLE!!! Bought it this year from a guy leaving AK. Good to know who did this work!

How cool to find a professional photo of a rifle you own!

Brasshound, how are you going about getting the cerakote? Do you know if its considered hazmat? The shipping costs of duracoat to AK are insane because its hazmat and cant be shipped in the regular mail.

Great looking rifle, BTW!

Very nice, eddie!

What product are you using for your paint? Not to try and steal any 'trade-secrets', but do you mind sharing how you are laying down the webbing?

I had this McMillan of old Hydro-Dipped.

Its a film, so its not as durable as something eddie or McMillan would put on. It does have a laquered finish.

Maybe this picture will show up it is an old savage 111 that had been spray bombed I picked it up at the pawn shop. My buddy has an electo-plating business we took it to his shop stripped the finish and hard chrome plated the barrel and action. I have a weatherby that we are going to plate with cadmium its suppose to look kind of copper/tan we are going drop it in a sand/black web stock

JC, not the shine I expected before I pulled up the picture. I was always under the impression that hard-chromed surfaces were shiny and mirror-like. Looks like a bead-blasted finish in the picture. The cadmium project sounds sweet! Keep us updated...
