What's the average street price for a Marlin lever for you guys? Kinda kicking the idea of one in their 338 Marlin Express or one of the big bores. Ranges of 125 yards or so. None avail to look at locally, no idea of price.

I'd go 35 Remington. Only one bullet option that I'm aware of for the 338 ME. A 45/70 would be fine also.

Is that a trick question??? You have 11,000 posts on this forum and you ask that? I assume that you hang out in other sections so to answer your question, price ranges from $300 or so for a used one to over a grand for some new ones. All depends upon what you want.

No, I never hang out here. Gander would order me one but wouldn't give a solid price. I wanted one for nostalgia but for a grand???? No effin way. Ruger no1 would come home long before that.

I found a very clean 1981 built 336 in 30-30 this past February on GunBroker that NO one even bid on and snatched it up for $275.00.
Fires three shots of 170 Corelockts in a 7/8" group.
There are those deals out there.
Always wanted a Marlin lever gun and boy i got a good one!

Just wanted something I wouldn't mind throwing a scope on. Great grandpa's Savake 1899 wont get touched, nor the ANIB pre-64 M94 my dad bought 20 years ago. 80 bucks.
