Wrap one is a bacon weave and cook it on your grill......

dude..I thought the same thing. I went there for a wedding (no not mine) a few years ago and it is now my one of my favorite vacations. I'm not a gambler, so I didn't think I'd like it much. There is a ton of stuff to do, and a lot of "scenery" to stare...I mean look at.

Lots to see (Emphisis on see) and do in Vegas. My daughter taught there for 15 years so the wife and I made many trips. You'd have to work at not having fun there.

I've been to Vegas a few times, and I love it there. There is so much to do. Most people think of never going because they don't gamble. I like to gamble and I hardly found the time.

Couldn't have said it better.

I enjoyed the old part more than the new part...can't remember the name of the old strip. That is where the history is.

Freemont!! me and the wife go every year just to get away, we dont gamble much, so much more to do there. the weather is warm, we go golfing...walking, sight seeing. just walking from place to place is fun, something to do in every casino without spending money. The Hawaiin Tropic International pagent was happening there 2 yrs ago. got to see lots of photo shoots there in the shark tank at the nugget! last year we seen Donald Trump come out with Miss Universe. wow!!! got pictures of that one and alot of them.

We have a friend that is the Human Resourses Manager at Mandalay Bay. He got us some special tour on the shark acquariam there. He got us a table at Emril Lagassi's sea food place in there, and they comped us the best restaurant food I've ever had!

Much, much more to do than gamble.

That would be Fremont Street Tom. Been there several times. Not the best part of Vegas to be in after dark. As long as you stay right in the Casino area you're pretty save, except for pick pockets. Don't stray out of the area though. Very high crime area. frown

I have the camp chores done, chili cooked (thanks Grizzly_Bill), beer on ice, rifle re-sighted, jelky's knive ready to rock. Now I just need to wash and pack my stuff.

Its getting close, no matter how much I prepare, I feel like I forgot something. Maybe I should start drinking tonight. smile

Just don't ask Dave how to cook ribs... You'll never eat them in a restaurant again. Good lord that man can grill.
