I had a new Marbles' on my .250-3000; the sight was GREAT! The adjustments are simple and work as advertised, and that sight looks right at home on a 99.
I sold the rifle in a fit of dumbness, and I had already removed and sold the sight. Now I'm buying an EG in .250 and wish I had that sight back!
The sight didn't do well on my rifle in that even after getting an extra-low post and adjusting to the bottom the rifle still shot waaaaaay too high. I soft-soldered some wire to the top of the front sight since it wasn't a dovetail-slot sight but one of the "brass-blade-in-a-slot" sights and that helped. Groups were still a bit high but the sight was easy to shoot accurate groups with!
I also want to mention Marbles' customer service! One of my mount screws stripped, and I also needed the extra-low post. I e-mailed Marbles and the next day, they mailed me TWO new mount screws, the post, and instructions for swapping it out, all for free, no questions asked, to Canada no less! Like I said, I wish I'd never sold the sight, but, pricey though they are, I'd buy another without hesitation and recommend them, obviously, without reservation.
