Yep. You should find something that shoots well between 43 and 44 grains of RL15, I'd imagine.

44 gr RE15/120 TSX is my only 708 load right now. i can't find RE 15 around here right now and running low, so i'll have to hatch a plan B pretty soon. maybe H4895

My last two 7mm-08's, an LVSF and a Kimber Montana, both preferred Ramshot Big Game to RL15. RL15 may be the popular powder on here but other powders come along that just might be better.
Anybody who seriously concerns themselves with the adequacy of a Big 7mm for anything we hunt here short of brown bear, is a dufus. They are mostly making shidt up. Crunch! Nite-nite!

RL-15 1st choice by a long ways; RL-19 or H4350 2nd choice; Varget & 4895 after that if necessary

My Mtn Guide with 22" barrel gives 2,970 at 10' from the muzzle with 44.0 R15 and 120 TSX.

Not sure the difference in USA RL-15 and non, but yes your velocity looks low for 45 gr and a 22" tube. I run that same load and get about 3120 fps in a 24" tube.

Velocitys look slow for 45 gr of RL 15? What brass are you using? Aside from powder lot and rifle barrel variations there could be a difference. If it's WW and they're anything like WW 308 brass they will be thinner and more capacious and hence show less pressure and velocity than the same charge in RP brass which the other posters could have used.

I use mainly WW brass, which was used for the above velocity, but haven't personally seen a big difference in velocities using WW or RP or Norma.

I use 45 grains of Varget under a 120 gr NBT. Freaking deadly on deer.
