You can put gold plating on a piece of poop aka an A=bolt but it is still a piece of poop.
If it had been a decent base rifle I actually LIKE the looks of it. Pretty nice wood and engraving, to me anyway.

If you want a dull finish and no checkering on a stock then don't buy a medallion browning. They all have high gloss finish and nice wood. I can't believe he sanded the checkering off too.

So, where was the nice rifle? GD I believe it says made in Japan on the side of the barrel.

Wow. I bet he saved himself $50-100 by sanding and refinishing it himself and probably changed the resale value of it by $300-400....the wrong way!
