Dave and Ryan, you need to buy a seperate license to hunt black powder? Kinda crappy. Here a gun license is a gun license. If you don't shoot one during rifle season, you can use your tags during black powder.

I had to skin & quarter our 2 deer from rifle season. It's all in a big tote in front of the house and should cool off really nice (is cool and has been cool) just saying should stay cool till i can get it cut & wrapped.

Weezy & I are going to tinker with her car a bit & I will head to chickenbuck tonight too, black powder opens tomorrow.

I was hoping to make it, but I can't this weekend. good luck you guys!!!!

Good luck guys. Is there any snow up there? I sat in the woods near my house tonight. You guessed it, no deer sighted.

I did see a crapload of turkeys though. Easily 30 of them.

nuthin, I'm back home tonight, Justin went back home too.

Justin saw a doe this morning & I had a deer right behind my stand, buck, I could hear the antlers hitting branches.

sat tonight & saw nothing.

That makes two of us. Well, I did see about 30 turkey's or so...again.

Tom, turkeys is (hic) better than nothing....Im just looking at the deer on the jagermister bottle left over from camp.

Well, I have one more shot at it tonight. I have a migraine though, since about 4am. If that doesn't clear up, I'm not doing anything. This is the longest I've ever had one. Really starting to suck.

I came home last night from camp & woke up this morning to snow on the ground Boy do I wish I was out there this morning.

Dave, we stopped out saturday night, Gate closed, lights off in the forest, i think they closed the forest down for you. Hoping to see some deer hangin' around out there. Sounds like some good snow coming in the next night or so. then those deer will stand out!

I had a bunch of work to do at home so I left camp & locked up after evening post.

sweet car you got for the daughter. she's one lucky girl. I hope she keeps that for a long time. I had heard there was alot of shooting out in the forest this weekend. Do you think the deers are moving more out there now?

I was hunting all day saturday & there wasn't any shooting. Sunday with the new snow might have changed that though.

Yeah I think it will be better this weekend.

Hopefully rooster will be coming up this weekend too.

I borrowed a muzzle loader, and I'm going to punish myself (not in the way that busch piolt punishes himself though. )some more this weekend. Supposedly there is an 8pt that is running around near where I bow hunt. I'd like to get a crack at him.

Some snow would be nice, but I don't think that will happen here.
