150 grain corelokts blew right through the doe, she went 100 yards. She bleed good at first but she was so fat, the fat wiggled down and plugged up both holes. Has to stomp down rose bush to find that one too. Just looking at my hands as I am typing this. Looks like I put both of them in a meat grinder. Can't see my ears, but they can't look much better. Have to heat up a needle tonight and dig a thorn out of my trigger finger. Really looking forward to that. Had leather gloves on too.
I could solve this problem myself by adjusting my aim a little and break some bones. Just hate to waste the whole front end of a deer though.

Nice deer, nice story. I've got to agree about the rosebush stuff, we've got it here on the farm that I manage and it's just plain nasty and keeps on growing.

Way to go, Randy..!!! Just got back home, been out of state for a few days, got on the campfire, and saw this...!!! I like it here..for reasons just like this.
I'm sure you could send that brass to someone here and get some headed with Partitions...for as cheap as a box of Remmy's.
Happy for ya..! Scott

Nice buck Randy! Good job gettin it out. Bros and I went out to Cameron Cty, east of Emporium, hunted Elk State Forest. Saw a couple of does and a small buck, deep woods hunting. No shots fired. Did see a bull elk out there though. What magnificient animals! Majestic. By itself, in the woods in the AM. Weather was wet for three days.
