For sale, mid 60's Sako Forester Deluxe in 243 win, Bofor steel marking. Just aquired this gun a few weeks ago and have not shot it. Need to by my son a rifle and unfortunately he shoots left handed. Nice figured wood and darker then most deluxes seen on GB. Some minor marks on barrel and spots on floorplate/trigger guard, no pitting seen. Bore is shiny and clean. Wood has some handling marks but nothing major. Recoil pad has small piece that is off on the bottom. Very pretty gun and handles very well. Trying to be as accurate as possible. Will ship in hard case to ensure safe arrival to your FFL.
Have photos which I can email or if someone would like to post for me would be appreciated. I'll also throw in a new in package set of Optilock Rings 1" low stainless for Sako/Tikka. No bases on gun nor do I have. $1100 shipped. If FFL will not take from private individual with copy of driver's license, then add $35. Only interested trade is a left hand bolt action in a youth suitable caliber.
