Has anyone tried a Golite Shangri-la 4 with a ti-goat or kifaru stove? How much usable floor space is there left? I know, "buy a kifaru tipi" , I don't have that kinda cash right now and the shangri-la 4 is pretty cheap over at REI.
Thanks!

Actionshooter,

I purchased a SL4, kifaru small stove, and Ti-goat stove jack. Used them to scout and 14 days of backpack hunting in the Eagle Caps. There is a thread here and on the Hunting Washington site with some early photos; my thread on HW: http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,32028.0.html. You can also see lots of my photos on my FB page of that hunt and gear: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/album.php?aid=2034523&id=1395787768; and http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/album.php?page=2&aid=2032041&id=1395787768.

The set up worked well for my dog and I or my hunting buddy and I. If hunting with 3, you probably need a tarp to keep gear covered outside.

I see you are in West WA. I live near Battle Ground. If you wanted to see that set up and are in the area, you could come over and see the gear in person.

That sure seems like a very good lightweight combo. Titanium Goat stove looks good also.

The Tepees my buddies have are plagued with condensation but that wood stove would be a perfect compliment/solution to that.

Shawn,

Great setup with the Shangri-la 4 and great idea for the drying rack in the wall tent.

Thanks for posting it.
