I like it too. Does the Wild West rear work OK with the stock front sight?

So you are replacing the Marlin front sight?

I recently redid a 336. I used the Wild West rear sight I bought here on the forum. I think you'll really like it if you're into that type of setup-I am!!

I picked this up as a project gun...I'm really undecided on its future...
1. May sell
2. May keep
3. may shorten barrel
4. may rebore
5. may trade
6. May do a combo of 2, 3, 4.
7. May combo 1 & 5

Seems like this gun has alot of potential...in alot of ways...

To each his own...ruined a good rifle in my opinion, but it took me a long time to warm up to synthetics at all. Hard to beat wood on a blued 30-30, they just go together. I could live with the other accessories though (except for the scope).
