I need, I think, a new claw extractor for my Win. Model 70 .30-06. Where is a good place to buy one? I called Matt Williams here and left three messages and one email- no response. So I need another source. Thanks.

PM me your name and phone number, so I can look into this.
I have no record of an email, but they are getting routed through my office manager. I apologize for the lack of communication.
Let me know what you need and I'll see if I've got something in inventory.

Wisners make them as well, but they require more fitting than a Williams.

The Williams stuff is first class and drops right in.

Got a Williams for one of my model 70's and I think it's better than the original. Works really well , very satisfied.

Looks like you got the VP himself helping you out - I hope he has what you need. I installed a Williams two years ago on a hunting buddies 1999 era M70 Classic .270WIN - the metal on the factory extractor chipped/flaked off at the business end and jammed when trying to close the bolt. The Williams fit right on and has worked flawlessly with no adjustment needed. I ordered a Williams for myself to keep as a backup in case one of my Classics did the same thing.

I'm in this same boat - back home from deer hunting and got a chipped/broken extractor on my 1999 PUSH FEED Model 70 in .270 cal - did you get one from Williams? If so, is this a stocked item I might be able to pick up as well?
I'm off websearching some more on a source for this little bugger!!
Thanks for any input you might have!
Dave

Homer, do you really need a claw extractor for a push feed?
