how far off the lands do they need to be loaded? on the lands? .050" off? its for a 30-06 if it matters. thanx

I believe evry rifle will be individual to this. I would start 10 thou off the lands and work from there.

Yep, you`ll have to experiment and see just where your rifle likes them. The MKs are like most cup & core bullets where seating depth is a big variable. They`re not like the solid copper Barnes that need a 0.05" run at the lands to keep pressures in rein.
I like to start load development ~0.005"/0.010" off the lands and once a max load is found move the bullet back in 0.005" steps to tune.
