Let's see some pictures of some real beaters, truck rifles and guns whose glory days are in the rear view mirror. Any stories behind her wounds would be appreciated.

I was gonna say, any of those Savage package rifles with a birch stock, but then I remembered the Benelli R1, and suddenly the Savages looked pretty good.

Jeff's BAR has a spot right next to that Howa, but he won't put as sporty a scope on it.

The Remington Model 673 Guide Gun has to rank right up there, but I would still like to have one in 350 Mag.

I own M788 Remingtons, Mooseburg M500s and one Savage M110 action-based rifle. Figure no pics are necessary, nor any claim to havin' taste?

Here is one that is ugly and busts scopes fast as you can put them on it. Ruger in 416 Taylor. Ugly picture too.

Harry,
I like your floor. Ruger is ugly.

There is no accounting for taste.

Experience is a great thing as long as one survives it.

Generally, there ain't a lot that separates the two however,
Barely making it is a whole lot more satisfying than barely not making it.
