Is there someone of you guys that has any experience of reloading S&B brass? I was going to reload som .270 Win. brass the other day and it seems that the primer pockets arent deep enough, I cant fully seat the primers.

I have not heard about any problems regarding primers, but I have heard that some have had issues with the thickness of the rims being such that they won't fit in their shellholders.
Luckily, your problem is easily solved: buy a primer pocket uniformer and that should enable you to make them loadable.
I, too, have some S&B .270 Win. brass, but have yet to load any. Let me know how it turns out.

Reloaded quite a few boxes of S&B brass in 30-06 without a hitch. Have a bit of 270, but have not loaded it yet. Eagleye.

I have had very poor luck reloading S&B brass in 6.5x57, 7x57, 8x57, and 9.3x62. The worst was the 6.5x57 which separated on the first reloading. Primer pockets were deep enough, but too tight - a small sliver of metal would shave off if you forced it to seat. Many of the case rims were too thick, and variability is case rim thickness was quite high. Similar experiences with the other calibers.
As for there ammo, it is crap, in my experience. I had pierced primers, dark rings around the primer, and heavy ejector marks in most all caliber I've tried. I will never have anything to do with this crap again... JMO...

I got a "deal" on some 6.5x55 131 grain ammo a year or 2 ago and didn't like it at all. Very dirty. I also got a couple hundred rounds of S&B 22 Hornet with a CZ mannlicher that I traded for. Cleaner than the 6.5x55, but not as accurate in that rifle as the Remington and Winchester factory loads. I won't bother with S&B ammo again.

Come to think of it, the only time in my life I've ever had ejector marks on a factory load case-head was with S&B fodder. Must be a little on the hot side, and/or the powders they choose are too quick for the given cartridge. RSY

I've "heard" from some Eurpoean aquaintences that had connections with S&B (so who knows if this is true) that one way they keep costs so low is to use the fastest powder possible for a given round. This forces them to run the pressure at or near max in order to make sure the ballistics are as advertised.
S&B is like anything, you get what you pay for...
