A freshly fired paper 12 ga shell from my Grandfather's Model 97 when I was a wee one with him on a pheasant hunt in eastern South Dakota! Whenever I smell it that day comes back as clear as can be! Yes! And probably loaded with RED DOT.

Yellow cedar boughs. Take the needles and crush/roll them in the finger and take nice, deep whiffs. Also - my flatulence!!! Hey, it smells good to me!!!

Hoppe's #9 reminds me of my first .22 rifle, a J.C. Higgens single shot..went for about $13.00 back then..
My fuzzy cat's fur when she's been out on a cold winter night..can smell the smoke from fireplaces in her fur.

A forest in the fall, something about that damp air with the leavs falling and just starting to decay.

Cherry blossoms, sweet and crisp.
Bergamot, citrusy and tingling to the nose.
Fresh cut grass, reminds me of a blend of watermelon and fresh timothy hay.
The scent after a summer rain shower, it always reminds me of fresh cut cucumbers.
The scent of fallen leaves and damp bark in the fall.
A freshly showered man, no cologne or after shave, just honest soap clean, with maybe a whisper of baby powder. Makes me want to, well anyways, it does....
Gin.

The ocean. Lake Superior. A balsam covered island out in Lake Nipigon when you fish the down wind side. Fresh split oak. newly dropped walnuts (they smell different from each tree). Frost on ripe vegetation. Rain when it's just an hour away.
