Where and when was that Dave? Did you catch anything?

Jeremy didn't start the heater in the fish house this morning. I can never start that stupid piece of crap. So I went to put our two buddy heaters in there and there was only one in the shop, someone had borrowed the other one. I didn't figure one would be enough for this -6 degree wheather but I tried. The heater was going for about an hour and it was not enough to do the job. We have 2 Mr. heaters but do you think I could find any 25 lb. tanks. NOPE.

I will wait till he gets home to start the heater in there. I might be painting through the night.

Other one's probably in your deer stand still.

I'll be working on our house this week. I'm putting steel runners under it.

That is a really cool pic Dave. Are you able to have your fish house in the shop when you work on it. Ours don't fit in our small shop, and the new one don't have heat or electricity.

I can get it in there if I skid it in. But it's too tall if it's on a trailer.

I'll skid it in there this week.

Our ice is gonna suck. We're gettin' more snow as I type this, and it's about 25*. Not good.

Won't be long and be able to run all over the lake here safely again. not much snow and fricken' cold!! Any huntin over the weekend dave? that is a cool pic too! I can't wait to get out. Checked it out at warroad yesterday and there were a couple fools out torwards the blinker.

Lake of the woods MN is saying "best ice in over 10 years"

They are going full blast up on the big lake right now using atv's to get out.

Guy down the hall from me, said there was 4" near shore and about an inch, 20 yds out....not for this fat guy.

I want to get up to the Lake of the Woods this winter. I was up there 2 years ago but we stayed at a resort that brought us out in a bombardier. I didn't care for that. Being stuck out there in -36 degrees. One of the fish houses we had the heater sucked. It was so cold that their beer froze. I like to be able to leave the lake if I need to.

Bemidji has 8-10 inches on various lakes and maybe a inch of snow on top, pannie bite is improving although eyes are tightlipped.

One ATV went thru the ice last week guys are taking things slow around here so far. I suspect this weekend will be the big rush.

Frozen beer, we just can't have that....you need to switch to the hard stuff.

Can't hardly choke down the hard stuff. I'm a sissy.

I was just outside and it is really making ice here. It is really booming.

Haven't heard anything yet on ice conditions here, but the ice can not be that good yet due to all the snow. I did see some college kids out on Lake Schmeeklee which is on the UWSP campus Saturday.

That's ironic, as her boyfriend (Ottawa Senators Forward, Mike Fisher) is an avid hunter.

Lets hope he can talk some sense into her. She is from Oklahoma, right? you would think PETA wouldnt be too popular there.

The boys have been out working on the house today. Brrr.......
