I got a 9 point and a piebald doe on Saturday in Texas. Not much white on her just a small patch on her flank.

I killed a piebald doe in N.C. about seven or eight years ago. Weird looking thing besides the white on the coat. It was weird in every way. It had a very weird shaped head and an odd body structure. I had several people over to look at the thing and everyone was shocked at its appearance.

This hunt was near Cherokee Tx, about 70-80 miles west of Austin on a 2700 acre low fence lease.
The doe was shot at 265 yards through the spine as she fed uphill, exiting out her chest. The buck was shot at 145 yards through the top of the heart. Both with the 120 grain Barnes TSX out of my 6.5x284.

I have a deer on my peroperty that has a 1.5"white dot on his neck, right where you would aim to neck shoot him. He is 5.5 yrs this year. Next year he will be a shooter. He has been an 8 point fo the last 3 years, last year being his best rack. Its kinda cool seing those unique deer. I'll see if I can post a pic if I can find one.
BTW good work.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. Familiar with that country and that is a great low fenced deer for the area.

That buck probably went about 115 - 120 Lbs on the hoof.
