the auger was originally made in the cities. osceola i think was the name of the company but they sold out to strikemaster in the mid 80's? something like that. my buddy found a guy who has an auger like ours that has a broken recoil. the guy wants 150 for just the power head, which is better than nothing I guess.

I love the 69's & 70's! It's an A code 289 car with auto trans. & if she ever sell it it better be to me or her mom it's an amazingly solid car & if weezy ever pulls her grades together this winter we'll be sanding it down & repainting it.

Cool pictures Dave!
Went fishing again tonight, only one perch. We had these dumb a** kids come and put their fish house not even 10 yards from ours. Come on they have the whole lake, they don't have to be that close! Why do people have to do that. Well the jokes on them because we have not caught anything. We might move the house further on the other side of the lake. We will have to ride our 4 wheelers to it but that would be ok if we catch anything.
I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

A very MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.I am here and read every day but if I don't have anything to add I just read. Thanks for thinking of me. I work a couple of days a week at a Pawn/Gun shop.Been doing that for almost five years now.I get to play with guns, meet a lot of great people and it keeps me from getting bored with retirement. Also I run my small on line rifle sight adjuster business. http://www.surplusrifle.com/shooting/mosinsights/index.aspAll of this keeps me going. Dave,a really great remembrance picture above.2010 is going to be a GREAT year for all of us who frequent Camp Chickenbuck virtually.I really treasure all of the friends, notice I didn't say acquaintances, here. Hi Tom, Merry Christmas to you and yours. I have been deer hunting some this year but with no success so far.Our season doesn't close until January 1st. and I will get to go a few more times.I have an invitation the week end after Christmas in the eastern lower part of the state.Deer are thick as flies there.Maybe, just maybe,I'll finally draw blood with the Ruger Super Redhawk .44 magnum.

I hope you get one Stan! I'm done hunting for the season, well, deer anyway. I like to chase rabbits around in the snow, but we're getting a lot of snow for that too.
We have ice fishing, and soon enough turkey hunting. I'm already planning for that.

Stan, good to hear from you. Think I'm going to have to find me a job like that.
Merry Christmas to everyone here at the Fire.
Dave love the pictures.

I start my trip home tomorrow! its been a year since I saw Colorado, and boy do I miss it! I have 2 elk hunts to do while I'm home, so I'll be busy for sure! finally caught a fish last night, a 3 lb northern. luckily I could reach the hook without getting his stinky-ass out of the hole. but hey its a fish anyway looks like we might have some weather moving in now too. maybe that will make the crappies decide to start biting. late season deer opens again here in a couple of days no doubt about it this has been an odd year to say the least for me.
