I just bought my daughter a 25-06 for hunting whitetails, what bullets do you recommend for a bang-flop.
I had thought about 110 grain nosler accubonds.
Suggestions?

your in pa like me and probably won't shoot many deer over 200 pounds. I would stick with the hundred grain bullets probably the hundred grain hornady flat base if my shots were expected to be 300 yards or less. Over that 100 grain nosler ballistic tip. I run them with a now over book load of 4831 that goes well under and inch and gives me 3250-for a plinking load and a hunting load that goes around 3400. I also have good luck with 7828 and h 4831.

There are so many good bullets that could be recommended. Let the rifle tell you what it likes. My daughter's 25-06 shoots 100 grain partitions into tiny groups. She has accounted for a number of deer with that bullet that required no trailing. My current 25-06 loves 110 accubonds over H4831. It accounted for five deer this fall that piled up after being hit with that bullet.

Shoot several bullets. The most accurate HUNTING bullet will likely be the best deer bullet. For me, it is the 117 Sierra SP, followed by the 120 Speer BTSP. Let your gun make the choice for you.
I was hoarding when hoarding wasn't cool.

The 120gr Hornady HP has worked very well for me.

I like the 100 gr TSX's for whitetail from both my 25-06 and .257 Weatherby

I've said it before - strong language will just about kill a deer.
Pick the hunting bullet that shoots the best out of that rig, and have her practice practice practice..
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

Many combo's will work, first one I'd give a go would be a 100 Horn and 7828.

While kind of boring I have found my 25-06 likes the Remington 100 grain Core Lokts. The 25-06 is an absolute awesome deer round and there are a multitude of big game bullets that will work great.

Took a WT buck @ 416 yards with a 85gr X bullet. It didn't go 20 yards from where it stood.

If your stand hunting then about any bullet works in the 25-06. last year the 117 gr. Sierra worked great on a 100 yard broadside shot in Texas..The rancher uses that exclusively. I have no problems with a good 100 gr. Hornady or whatever..If I were expecting going away jump shots then a 117 gr. or 120 gr. bonded core or Partition would be more to my likeing.

Thanks everyone, most of the time she will be stand hunting in the hardwoods of PA, not more than a 100 yard shot possible. Where we hunt the deer can tend to be moving briskly due to the 1 million hunters in the woods. I just want to make sure if she hits the deer in the shoulders it will do the job. Lots of good advice on here, I bought a box of Accubonds and loaded a couple under 49.5 grains of IMR 4350 and with a new gun I got a 1 inch group at 100 yards after breaking the barrel in. A guy at work gave me some 117 grain Sieera Prohunters and 100 grain ballistic tips to try, I will do that after the Holidays. I am sure with playing around with loads this is going to be a great shooting gun. My youngest daughter shot a nice six point with her .243 this year, she was using 95 grain ballistic tips and hit the front shoulder, we recovered the deer but it took a little effort. That is why I was curious about the 25-06.
Thanks to all
