Stan, that Trapper model was a nice find. BTW, I'm in the geezer club too.

As if the ice wasn't bad enough, mother nature added a dusting of snow to it just to see if she couldn't slick it up even more. mad

Heard that Duluth had 21" of snow out of the storm. Dave how much over by you?

Bill, my dad is just north of Duluth & last i heard from him he was estimating 2 feet but it was still falling.

I really don't know if we've gotten a foot out of this storm yet where we are at.

We'll be out with the plow truck today, maybe we'll get a couple of pictures of those efforts grin

Grizzaly Bill,I had no idea you were in the geezer club.Good to have company.
You know you are a geezer when you get up in the morning and anything that doesn't hurt doesn't work.

Dave, we only had 2-3" of snow here, but around an inch of freezing rain. Temps dropped below 10* last night so everything is frozen up solid. The garage door was frozen shut this AM, but I got it open without to much of a problem.

Just got back from Fleet Farm, where I picked up 100 punds of salt for the driveway.

I'll take snow any day over the rain.

Stan, I'll be 67 in April so I'm a geezer.

Back in 1985 I was up in Canada fishing. The owner of the camp we were at showed us an original Win 94 Trapper that he had found in an old deserted trappers cabin. It was in great shape considering that it had been in there for years.

Hey Stan! I hope your Christmas went well for you and your family.

Those Winchester Trappers are nice little guns, I like those.

Working in a gun shop is not good on a gunnut's pocket book. I did that about 8 years ago too, so I know just what you mean.

Dave, that's some serious plowing. Does the county pay you to maintain your driveway? smile

I can't quite make out what the Red car is, but it resembles a Studebaker.

I'm so glad you bought the old truck. Keep it in the family. I remember it when I was little and it had the stacks on it. It was in better shape then. I can't believe that thing is still going with how many miles it has on it. And tough miles too. I know your response "well it is a Ford". shocked

I wish I would have had a video camera when I had to pull Dad out with the Chevy. We could have been in one of those Chevy adds on TV. grin

Both my parents who live in separate parts of the city said they got about 8" or snow. I think the news here is something else.

Well, its a FORD grin so of course it has a lot of miles on it.

Dave has a picture of that truck at chickenbuck with the stacks it. It was/is a good looking truck.

Shoulda took a picture when you pulled out that truck with a Chevy, because no one will ever believe you otherwise. grin

Ever wonder why the Chevy's have the tow hooks on the front, and the Fords have them on the back. grin grin

I missed you deer hunting guys so Im gonna swish in here and say Merry Christmas to you all. Hope all was as good as it could be.

I came in from blowing snow, in the big swish/sleeping bag, and My oldest thought it was just wrong that I was outside in the swish with only underpants on underneath. Im wearing 63 pounds of blaze orange shell and man made filler and he acts like I was out there naked for all the world to see.
